The European dictatorships 1918-1945
The development that led more than half of the European countries into dictatorships between WWI and WWII is analyzed. The changes in these countries during WWII are described. The concept of dictatorship and its different forms are characterized. Examples of infamous dictators, such as Mussolini, Hitler and Stalin, but also from other, smaller countries are discussed.
