This book gives very interesting glimpses into the early years of the writer. And all is true - even the just revenge on the disgusting sweetshop owner, Mrs. Pratchett. All too true are the deaths in the family, canings by the headmaster and the grisly methods of matron but there were glorious times too at home in Wales.
