Sarum

Sarum

The word Sarum was originally the mistaken version of the abbreviation for Salisbury made by a medieval scribe. The name stuck and in this story of the city and of five families who lived there runs from the Ice Age to the present day. Built in a natural bowl where five rivers run together, it is one of the oldest and evocative places in the British Isles.
