Ivor Llewllyn is a bachelor for the sixth time. His divorce lawyer sees Ivor as a 'compulsive proposer' and accompanies him as a bodyguard against women to London. But there is no London branch of Bachelors Anonymous and the quest of the forceful Vera Dalrymph for a husband is almost assured of success.
