Mister Pip
13-year-old Matilda lives with her mother on an island where a civil war rages. The only remaining white man begins to teach children using Charles Dickens' novel Great Expectations as a textbook. Soon the main character of the novel, Mr. Pip, starts to become real for Matilda.
