The weight of water

The weight of water

This is a coming of age story; it also tackles the alienation experienced by many young immigrants. Kasienka and her mother have come to England with a suitcase filled with clothes. Life is lonely for Kasienka, at school friends are scarce, but she learns that there might be more than one way for her to stay afloat.
