Hemingway's final novel is a mix of autobiography and fiction. The story begins when Hemingway's close friend, Pop, leaves him in charge of the hunting camp in Africa. The author must take on his new role of leader and assist his wife Mary to pursue the lion she is determined to kill by Christmas.
