In search of love and beauty
In search of love and beauty
Using mainly cosmopolitan New York as a background, the author explores the lives of a group of refugees through three generations. All seek love and beauty - or prey on those who do - and all evade reality; the action travels back and forth in time over the forty years from their arrival in the early 1930s.
