The precipice
Philip Cardon, with his new friend Eve Warner, see the grim murders of General Sterndale and his son in Dorset. Two more murders occur and a deadly assassin, The Motorman, is heard of. The action sweeps to Geneva where Paula fights for her life in the ice shrouded city and The Motorman strikes again, his identity still a mystery.
