Upper secondary school learning materials are not available in English. The page offers more information about the types of learning materials that are available in Finnish and Swedish.

Materials and studying support for visually impaired students

For students with visual impairments, Accessibility Library Celia mainly offers Luetus books, which are read on a computer. If a Luetus book has an attachment with tactile graphics, you can find it on Celianet by searching by the book’s title. Available in Finnish and Swedish.

There are also some talking textbooks on Celia. To make sure you find the right talking textbook, search by book title or ISBN. Available in Finnish and Swedish.

Fiction and non-fiction for young people and adults in various book formats, such as talking books and electronic books , can also be used to support learning and reading. These books are available in Finnish, Swedish and English.

Matriculation examination

Prepare for the matriculation examination by practicing taking the exam with your teacher. Students with visual impairments are entitled to special arrangements during the exam, so please contact the Matriculation Examination Board.

Learning Braille

The AKL materials for learning Braille are suitable for all ages. You can find them in Finnish on Celianet.

Other books for learning Braille can be found in the Finnish publications of the Braille Advisory Board (pistekirjoituksen neuvottelukunta).

Books for students with other reading difficulties

There are some talking textbooks for studying in Celia’s selection. Fiction and non-fiction talking books can also be used to support studying and reading. Available in Finnish and Swedish.
